Representation Theory
Days 2018
September 13-15, 2018

General information The "Representation Theory Days" are annually organized in rotation by several mathematical groups in Germany working on Representation Theory of Groups and Related Algebras. This year's meeting is hosted by the Institute for Algebra, Number Theory and Discrete Mathematics of Leibniz Universität Hannover.
While the Representation Theory Days usually run over two days, this year they are extended by a further day with a focus on representations of the symmetric groups and related topics.

When? The workshop will take place from Thursday (Sep 13) about 2 p.m. until Saturday (Sep 15) about 1 p.m.. A workshop dinner is planned for Thursday evening.

Registration Everybody is welcome to participate. If you plan to attend the meeting, please fill out the registration form and send it via email to Christine Bessenrodt until August 30; for our planning, please let us know whether you want to attend the conference dinner. If you are interested in contributing a talk please send a title and short abstract until August 15, 2018.

Accommodation Apart from invited speakers, participants are asked to make their own hotel reservations. We have pre-reserved some rooms for the period Sept 13-15 at a special price at the following hotels; please mention the keyword "Darstellungstheorie" on reservation:
Hotel Savoy (single, 85 €/night, incl. breakfast, booking until August 13)
Hotel Wiegand (single, 80 €/night, incl. breakfast, booking until August 10)

How to get there? All lectures will take place in the main building of Leibniz Universität Hannover, the Welfenschloss. The street address is Welfengarten 1; there is a tram stop "Leibniz Universität" in front of the building. More details may be found here.
